About the role

Hvidovre Kommune is looking for a relational and professionally strong department leader for Plan og Arbejde, covering the area for activity-ready citizens, resource courses and integration. This is a central leadership role in turning the ambitions of the employment reform into everyday practice, giving direction to the work, developing staff, and making sure support helps more citizens gain a foothold in the labour market and become an active part of the community. You will join the strategic leadership of Center for Beskæftigelse og Borgerservice, as part of a well-functioning leadership team, and you will report to the centre chief. Your work will focus on citizens' resources, progression and opportunities for employment or education, with targeted business-oriented solutions, holistic support and strong cross-disciplinary cooperation. The role is full-time and permanent, based on site in Hvidovre, with a start as soon as possible. The selection process includes a first interview expected on Tuesday 17 November and a second interview expected on Friday 20 November; candidates who proceed to the second interview will receive a test beforehand and a case with preparation time on the day.

Requirements

Solid leadership experience, preferably from the employment area or another authority area; a relevant leadership education held or in progress; experience leading employees and professional environments; ability to translate legislation, reforms and political decisions into clear direction and practice; strong relational and professional leadership skills.
