Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put other users at risk.

Our role

Top Notch Spot runs the platform and a recruitment team that screens and interviews candidates. Employers make their own hiring decisions and are responsible for their job offers and employment terms.

Candidates

You confirm that the information and documents you submit are truthful and belong to you. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview, a submission to an employer or an offer of employment.

• Apply only to jobs you are genuinely interested in; each job accepts one application per candidate.
• Attend interviews you have accepted, or tell the other side in good time if you cannot.
• Respond to offers before they expire.

Employers

Job listings must describe genuine vacancies and comply with applicable employment laws. We review listings before publication and may decline or remove any listing.

Candidate information shared with you may be used only to assess the candidate for the role it was shared for, and must be handled confidentially.

Job posting rules

• Jobs must be real, currently open vacancies at your own company (or a client you are authorised to recruit for).
• Do not ask candidates for any payment, deposit or fee.
• Do not include discriminatory requirements that are unlawful where the job is based.
• Salaries, locations and work arrangements must be accurate. Mark a job as remote only if it is.
• We may request changes to, reject, pause or close any listing.

Fees

Any fees for employer services are agreed separately in writing or shown before purchase. Candidates are never charged to apply for jobs.

Acceptable use

• Do not post false, misleading or discriminatory content.
• Do not attempt to access data or areas you are not authorised to use.
• Do not scrape, copy or resell listings or candidate information.
• Do not post content that is illegal, abusive, sexually explicit, infringes others’ rights, or contains malware or spam.
• Do not impersonate another person or company.

Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts, companies or listings that break these terms, and remove content, to protect users. Records needed for legal or security reasons are kept.

Third-party links

Company websites and other external links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Liability

We work carefully to screen roles and candidates, but we cannot guarantee the outcome of any hiring decision, the accuracy of information provided by users, or that the service will always be available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service. This wording should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer for each country where the platform operates.
