About the role
Renesas is a global embedded semiconductor solutions provider working across automotive, industrial, infrastructure and IoT markets, with more than 21,000 professionals in over 30 countries. Its Taipei team is seeking a customer-facing application engineer to support its AI power module products, described as one of the company's fastest-growing product lines, serving high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, networking and advanced computing applications. In this role you will analyse customer requirements and recommend suitable power module solutions from the existing portfolio, including multiphase controllers, then support customers through product selection, schematic and layout reviews and debugging during new product introduction. You will advise on passive external components and module-to-controller connections, validate customer use cases against datasheet operating ranges, and work with field application engineers globally while holding face-to-face technical discussions with customers in Taiwan. Requirements
MSEE or BSEE with 5+ years of experience focused on power electronics 2+ years of related experience in multiphase power solutions or power modules for data centers Prior experience in customer-supporting engineering roles Excellent English written and verbal communication skills for engaging customers and field teams
