About the role
The Alabama Air National Guard's 117th Air Refueling Wing is hiring a full-time Aircraft Mechanic (T32) in Birmingham, Alabama, at $30.69 to $35.81 per hour. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair assigned and transient aircraft, carrying out functional checks, preventive maintenance, and unscheduled repairs, and keeping accurate historical maintenance records. The role also involves guiding drill-status Guard members through repair tasks and taking part in readiness evaluations. Applicants need compatible National Guard membership at rank A1C through TSgt, plus specialised experience installing, adjusting, aligning, troubleshooting, and functionally testing aircraft systems; education cannot substitute for experience in this wage-grade role.
