About the role
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Montana is hiring an Assistant United States Attorney specialising in eLitigation, based in Billings with other district locations in Great Falls, Helena and Missoula. You will build and maintain eLitigation skills among attorneys and support staff, helping litigation teams use technology effectively, and your assignments will grow more complex as your training and experience develop. The appointee generally must live in the district or within 25 miles of it. Applicants need a J.D. and active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction; experience in complex civil or criminal litigation and in litigation technology is preferred. This is a rare chance to combine federal prosecution work with a technology specialism, supporting cases from discovery through trial in one of the country's most scenic federal districts.
