About the role
Plaace, an Oslo-based technology company, is looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join its on-site team. Plaace builds digital solutions for the property and urban development sector, using technology to make complex real-estate processes simpler and more transparent. You will design, build and maintain backend services and APIs that power Plaace's products, working with modern development practices including automated testing, code reviews and continuous deployment. Collaborating with frontend developers and product colleagues, you will help shape technical architecture and ensure the platform is scalable, secure and reliable as the business grows. This is an on-site position in Oslo, Norway, for a backend engineer who enjoys ownership and wants to see their work make a tangible difference in a growing company.
