About the role
The Helmholtz Institute for One Health in Greifswald, part of the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research, seeks a building services technician for its new institute building and research operations. In the first two to three years you will focus on commissioning the new building: supervising acceptance of safety and cleanroom systems, taking part in functional tests, setting up the building management system, and drafting operating instructions and maintenance plans. You need a technical qualification in building services, supply or electrical engineering with several years of relevant experience, knowledge of ventilation, air conditioning and control systems, and familiarity with rules such as the Biological Agents Ordinance, TRBA and ISO 14644. The post is permanent, paid at E 8 TVöD-Bund, with flexible hours. Apply by 25 November 2026.
