About the role

The University of the West Indies is seeking an outstanding academic leader for the position of Campus Principal at its Cave Hill Campus in Barbados. As the chief executive of the campus, the Principal provides strategic direction and bears overall responsibility for its academic standing, financial health and institutional development. The successful candidate will lead the implementation of the university's strategic plan at campus level, champion excellence in teaching, research and outreach, and strengthen relationships with government, industry, alumni and regional stakeholders. You will oversee senior management, guide resource mobilisation and partnerships, and ensure the campus continues to thrive as a centre of Caribbean scholarship and innovation. This appointment calls for a scholar-administrator of recognised distinction with a proven record of institutional leadership, sound financial stewardship and the vision to position Cave Hill for the future.
