About the role

Primăria Porumbrei is looking for a Chief Accountant to work in its Mayor's Office in Porumbrei, Cimișlia district, on a full-time, on-site basis. The post is listed as a temporarily vacant function. You will direct the organisation of accounting records and control over revenue collection, carry out the expenditure estimates of institutions maintained from the local budget, and prepare their reports. The work involves high-complexity, interdependent accounting tasks, correct management of financial means, and planning and managing control of financial resources. You will record how revenue and expenditure are executed and make sure salary payment deadlines are met, so that the mayor's office and its institutions can account clearly for public money.

Requirements

Applicants must hold citizenship of the Republic of Moldova, have full legal capacity, know Romanian, and not be deprived of the right to hold a public function, as stated in the official announcement. At least 3 years of experience in the field is required. Strong accounting, budgeting and reporting skills for public institutions are essential.
