About the role

The Ministerio de Salud y Deportes of Bolivia, through the Comisión Calificadora Nacional and under Decreto Supremo No. 28909 and the Reglamento del Escalafón al Mérito, has opened the 2026 call for public health workers to apply for Category I of the Escalafón al Mérito (merit scale). The call is aimed at serving public health workers employed by the Servicios Departamentales de Salud (SEDES), INLASA, CENETROP, INSO, the Escuela de Salud La Paz and the Escuela de Salud Cochabamba, according to the organisational structure of each departmental health service network. Applicants must submit an ordered, foliated file containing a signed application letter addressed to the Departmental/Regional Qualifying Commission, the fully completed Formulario de Registro de Personal (FRP) in blue pen with an original 3x4 cm photo on a red background, a signed copy of their identity document, a copy of the memorandum of entry into the health system or confirmation evaluation, a current payslip showing they do not already receive the Category I merit benefit, and an original work certificate issued by the competent authority. Incomplete files or falsified documents automatically disqualify the application, and no documents may be added after the deadline. Files must be presented in person during office hours at the Human Resources Office (Jefatura de Recursos Humanos) of the respective Servicio Departamental de Salud, from 3 November to 3 December 2026, without extension. The call was issued in La Paz on 30 September 2026.
