Director of the Communications Directorate

About the role

The Central Bank of Montenegro (Centralna banka Crne Gore), the country's central bank, is recruiting a Director of its Communications Directorate, based at its Podgorica headquarters. The Director coordinates the preparation and delivery of the Directorate's work plans, organises public information about the Bank's work, maintains and develops relations with media representatives, coordinates media campaigns and public appearances by the Bank's leadership and staff, and oversees socially responsible campaigns such as the Annual Award, the Green Award and Savings Week. The role also coordinates cooperation with relevant domestic institutions on the National Strategy for Financial Education of Children and Youth, works with international organisations on financial education and inclusion, coordinates protocol activities, and follows official travel and visits to the Bank. Selection includes a test of English, a check of IT literacy, an assessment of professional abilities and a final interview, and the post carries a six-month probationary period.
