About the role
The city of Neuwied seeks an educational specialist for the Geschwister-Scholl primary school, a 'Startchancen' opportunity school that strengthens basic skills in reading, writing and arithmetic. You will support children in addition to classroom teaching, in small groups, complement colleagues' work in Montessori education, run activity groups independently, supervise children, and help with administration such as parent contact, group lists, statistics and the school website. You need a qualification as a state-recognised educator, a comparable qualification such as curative educator, or a degree in social education or social work, plus experience supervising groups and parents independently and handling conflict conversations with children and parents. The post is part-time at 19.5 hours a week, fixed-term to 25 June 2027, paid at TVöD-SuE S 8a. Apply by 22 November 2026.
Requirements
