Electrical Engineer (SOG/ST 7)

About the role

The Ministry of Local Government and Community Development is seeking an Electrical Engineer (SOG/ST 7) in Kingston. This on-site, full-time role provides electrical engineering expertise for ministry and community projects, making sure electrical work is safe, compliant and fit for purpose. A typical day will involve reviewing designs and specifications, inspecting installations, advising project teams on electrical requirements, and checking work against standards and codes. You will help prepare technical reports, estimate costs, and follow up defects and safety issues. The post is offered at J$5,457,937 per annum.
