About the role
The Army is hiring Electronics Engineers at Fort Huachuca through its Army Fellows programme, a structured route into federal engineering with promotion potential from GS-7 to GS-12. You will help design and develop electronics systems, inspect and evaluate projects, spot technical problems, recommend fixes and prepare the reports and studies that turn ideas into working capability. It is a strong start for an early-career engineer: real projects, experienced mentors and a pay ladder that grows as your skills do. Applicants need an engineering degree or a qualifying combination of education and experience, plus specialised electronics-engineering experience, graduate education, superior academic achievement or a five-year programme. The post is open to the public, recent graduates and Schedule A candidates. Fort Huachuca offers a distinctive setting in the Arizona high desert, supporting Army missions in intelligence and communications. Note that the announcement may close early once 50 applications are received, so apply promptly and before 10 November 2026.
Requirements
Open to the public, recent graduates and Schedule A candidates; engineering degree or qualifying combination, plus specialised experience, graduate education, superior academic achievement or a five-year programme.
