Expert Member, Investment Committee

About the role

The Civil Service Board has opened nominations for experts to serve on the Investment Committee of the National Social Security Fund in Lebanon. The call, listed in Arabic as خبراء لعضوية لجنة الاستثمار لدى الصندوق الوطني للضمان الاجتماعي, seeks experienced investment and finance professionals to advise on the Fund's investments. Committee members review investment proposals, assess risk and return, and help safeguard the Fund's assets. Applications opened on Monday 19 October 2026 and close on Sunday 31 January 2027 at 23:59 Lebanon time. Responsibilities

- Advise the National Social Security Fund's Investment Committee on investment strategy. - Review investment proposals and assess risk, return and suitability. - Monitor portfolio performance and investment conditions. - Contribute expert judgement to committee decisions.

Requirements

Be Lebanese for at least 10 years; enjoy civil rights and not have been convicted of a felony or attempted felony of any kind, or of a disgraceful misdemeanour; and not suffer a physical or mental weakness making the person unable to perform the duties, with the rights of persons with special needs preserved. Also hold a postgraduate university degree in financial or economic sciences or related fields, or a university degree plus at least 15 years of experience and practice in investment fields inside an institution, and meet at least one of the competences or experiences specified in Annex 1 to the announcement.
