About the role
The Department of Geology under the Government of Greenland (Naalakkersuisut) is hiring a Geophysicist focused on geoscience data and digital solutions. Greenland's geology holds world-class mineral potential, and the Department manages the geoscience data that underpins responsible resource exploration and research. In this full-time role (40-hour week) you will work with geophysical datasets — processing, interpreting and integrating them into digital platforms used by industry, researchers and government. You will help modernise how Greenland's geoscience data is stored, shared and visualised, combining solid geophysics with digital and data skills. It is a unique chance to shape the digital backbone of Arctic geoscience in a small, high-impact public team. The position is based in Greenland. It suits a geophysicist with strong data and software skills — or a data-savvy scientist with geophysics training — who is excited by the combination of earth science and digital solutions. Apply via the link on this listing.
Requirements
Degree in geophysics, geology or a related earth science Strong skills in geophysical data processing and interpretation Experience with digital tools, databases or GIS platforms Good English communication skills Interest in Arctic geoscience and public-sector mission work
