About the role

AbbVie, the global biopharmaceutical company behind medicines in immunology, oncology, neuroscience and the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio, is recruiting a Head of Representative Office for Belarus, based in Minsk and reporting to the CIS Commercial Lead. This is the senior country leadership role, accountable for the compliant operation, performance and cross-functional coordination of AbbVie's business in Belarus within the authority formally delegated to the post. The role covers country leadership and strategy, translating regional and global priorities into a Belarus strategy and annual operating plan, and setting country priorities across the portfolio. You will own business and financial performance, including plans, forecasts, budgets and distributor governance, and lead portfolio and commercial strategy covering brand priorities, launch readiness and lifecycle management. Market access and external engagement are also central: maintaining a clear view of funding mechanisms and procurement processes, representing the company with healthcare institutions, industry associations and government stakeholders, and protecting AbbVie's reputation as a trusted healthcare partner. Governance, compliance and people leadership run through the job: ensuring the Representative Office meets local legislation and corporate requirements, maintaining effective financial, legal, regulatory and compliance controls, leading and developing the Belarus team, and overseeing business continuity and country-level risks.
