Idrottsplatsarbetare till Hägernäs IP

About the role

Täby kommun is looking for a sports grounds worker (idrottsplatsarbetare) for a permanent, full-time post based at Hägernäs IP in Täby. You will work outdoors at the municipality's sports facilities, including ice resurfacing, pitch care and general grounds maintenance, along with visitor service and administrative work. You will have contact with sports associations, schools and suppliers, and the role includes evening and weekend work. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis, and employment may take place before the stated closing date, so early applications are welcome. Suitability will be assessed and an extract from the police criminal record will be requested for this post.

Responsibilities

- Maintain sports pitches, ice and outdoor facilities at Hägernäs IP - Carry out ice resurfacing and grounds care work - Help visitors, sports associations and schools on site - Handle administrative tasks and contact with suppliers

Requirements

Upper secondary education, a B driving licence for manual vehicles, basic computer skills and good Swedish spoken and written. Suitability will be assessed and an extract from the police criminal record will be requested.

Preferred qualifications

Experience of grounds maintenance, ice care or work with sports facilities; a service-minded and practical approach.
