About the role
Public Enterprise for Communal Activities Komunalec in Gostivar is looking for a Junior Accounts Reconciliation Associate to join its Finance Department, within the Sector for Joint Affairs. This is the second of the finance posts advertised under Public Announcement No. 790/2026, and it is focused on checking and reconciling accounts rather than on general financial operations. In this role you will compare records from different sources, spot differences between them, and help clear those differences so the enterprise's accounts stay accurate and consistent. A typical day will involve matching payments and invoices against the books, following up on items that do not agree, keeping reconciliation records tidy, and raising anything unusual with senior colleagues. You will also help prepare summaries that show which accounts have been reconciled and which items still need attention. The post is full-time and based on site in Gostivar, working Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:00, 40 hours a week. The stated salary for this post is 32,200 denars net per month. Selection follows the Agency of Administration process for administrative servants, including administrative selection, an examination, and verification of evidence with an interview. Applications are made electronically through the Agency of Administration portal by 10 November 2026, quoting Public Announcement No. 790/2026.
Responsibilities
Compare and reconcile account records, match payments and invoices against the books, investigate and help resolve differences between records, keep reconciliation documentation complete and up to date, and report unresolved items to senior finance colleagues.

Candidates must be citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, actively use the Macedonian language, be adults, be generally medically fit for the post, and have no ban imposed by a final court judgment on practising a profession, activity, or duty. Candidates must also have qualification level VI B, at least 180 ECTS credits or a completed VII/1 degree in social sciences, economics and/or business. Relevant work experience is not required for this post. Candidates must also actively know office computer programs and one of English, French, or German.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in accounting, reconciliation, or administrative work; careful attention to detail; good organisation and teamwork skills.
Benefits
Public-sector post; stated monthly net salary of 32,200 MKD; full-time hours, Monday to Friday.
