About the role
The VA in Augusta, Georgia is hiring three Licensed Practical Nurses for Geriatrics care. You will provide direct patient care under a nurse manager or designee, following care plans and using judgement appropriate to each patient's condition. Older veterans often have complex, changing needs, so patience, observation and careful, respectful care matter greatly in this role. Applicants need graduation from an approved practical or vocational nursing school and a full, active, current and unrestricted LPN/LVN licence; long-term-care or geriatric experience and IV-start and lab-draw skills are preferred.
