Logistics Analyst – Empties Recovery (M/W)

About the role

Union Camerounaise de Brasseries (UCB), a Cameroonian brewing company and subsidiary of the KADJI Group, is recruiting a Logistics Analyst – Empties Recovery to join its Logistics Department in Douala, Cameroon. In this role you will help improve the recovery of reusable bottles, crates, kegs, containers and other returnable packaging from customers, collection points, distributors and transport partners to the Distribution Centre. Your work will include tracking returnable packaging throughout the distribution network, reconciling packaging issued, collected, transferred, received and outstanding, analysing overdue returns, damage and shortages, maintaining dashboards and reports on recovery performance, forecasting return volumes, coordinating with sales, transport and Distribution Centre teams, working with Finance and Commercial teams on packaging balance differences, and establishing performance baselines and a dashboard during the first 90 days. Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Two to four years of experience in logistics analysis, distribution, inventory control, or supply chain operations Advanced Excel skills, with Power BI or similar reporting tools and SQL considered advantages Knowledge of stock reconciliation, return forecasting, collection costs, and deposit or incentive schemes Familiarity with ERP, warehouse or transport systems, data quality, and company procedures Experience with returnable packaging or FMCG distribution is an advantage
