About the role
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic (MVO) for a comprehensive water-resource project in Royal, Arkansas, covering a flood-control dam, recreation facilities, forest lands and roads. You will operate and maintain electrical systems, buildings, utilities and treatment systems, keeping the site safe and functional for staff and visitors. Day-to-day duties span carpentry, roofing, surface preparation and repair, together with operating extended-aeration and filtration treatment systems. The position is full time at WG 10, paying $29.39 to $34.28 per hour. Applicants must be US Citizens and must possess and maintain a valid State motor vehicle operator's licence before appointment.
