About the role
The Department of the Air Force is hiring Maintenance Workers for the High Desert Inn lodging facility at Edwards Air Force Base, California. In this permanent, intermittent nonappropriated-fund role you will perform general maintenance at lodging facilities, including carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing work, furniture repair, and key and keyless-entry system support. You will use hand and power tools. Pay is $22.32 to $23.25 per hour, for a few vacancies, and the position may require shift work including evenings, weekends, holidays and down days. Applicants must hold and maintain a valid driver's licence with a clean driving record, must pass a drug test, and must be U.S. citizens or non-U.S. nationals who have resided in U.S. territory for three or more consecutive years.
