About the role
The district of Rostock seeks a medical director to shape the quality and development of pre-hospital emergency care in the district. You will carry medical responsibility for a high-quality rescue service, set binding medical standards and procedures, run medical quality management and assurance, contribute to demand, deployment and emergency planning, develop the rescue service, emergency doctor service and integrated control centre. You need a medical degree with licence to practise, a completed specialist qualification in a field suited to emergency or intensive care medicine, several years of pre-hospital emergency experience, qualification as a senior emergency doctor, and the qualification as medical director of a rescue service or willingness to obtain it soon. The post is permanent, full-time and paid at TVöD-VKA E 15 plus a specialist allowance. Apply by 1 December 2026.
Requirements
