About the role

The Energy and Water Agency, a Government of Malta agency within the ministry responsible for energy and water, invites applications for the post of Officer (Coordination and Public Relations), Grade VI, in the Project Implementation Unit in the Office of the CEO. The Unit is responsible for rolling out public EV charging infrastructure across Malta and Gozo to meet national targets and for its continued operation and maintenance. The officer manages the project's public relations activities and EU co-financing publicity requirements, prepares project updates and communication materials for media and project activities, manages the ChargeMyRide website and social media platforms, assists with horizontal processes of the EV charging ecosystem, and supports procurement and contract administration, documentation and reporting. The position is on a definite three-year contract with a six-month probationary period, and the officer may be required to work unsupervised and after office hours.
