About the role
The James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is hiring five Pharmacy Technicians to keep its pharmacy service running for veterans. Working independently and with minimal supervision, you will manage the computerised prescription process, dispense medications and sterile products, and resolve medication issues together with the health care team. You will also mentor developmental technicians and students, support specialised pharmacy services and performance-improvement initiatives, and troubleshoot automated dispensing equipment and pharmacy technology when it misbehaves. The role is full-time on variable day shifts, Sunday through Saturday. It suits a capable technician who enjoys both patient-facing problem solving and the technical side of modern pharmacy. Pay is $54,124 to $70,363 per year. This open-continuous announcement considers applicants until all five vacancies are filled, through 31 December 2026, and is open to all U.S. Citizens; Veterans' Preference does not apply to this announcement.
