About the role
The Department of the Navy's Commander, Navy Installations Command is hiring a Recreation Assistant (Fitness/Sports/Aquatics) in Colts Neck, New Jersey. The assistant supports fitness, sports and aquatics programmes: helping run activities, supervising facilities, and ensuring participants enjoy safe, well-organised recreation. This is an intermittent position of 0 to 40 hours with no benefits, at NF-2 paying $18.60 per hour, with 2 vacancies. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals, or persons owing allegiance to the U.S., and must have or be able to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, AED and Blood-borne Pathogen certifications as stated; a background check is required.
