About the role
An Asian Development Bank-supported project, implemented through the APIU of Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, is hiring a Regional Officer covering Bishkek, Chui, and Talas. Offered as a consultancy/contract engagement, this is a field-oriented role: you will coordinate project activities across the three regions, work with local stakeholders and beneficiaries, monitor implementation progress, and report back to project management. Regional travel is inherent to the job. It suits a development professional with agriculture, water resources, or rural development experience who is comfortable operating across multiple regions. Requirements
- Background in agriculture, water resources, rural development, or a related field - Experience in project coordination or field implementation - Willingness to travel regularly across Bishkek, Chui, and Talas regions - Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting skills - Fluency in Kyrgyz and Russian; English an advantage
