About the role

Baglioni Maldives is a luxury island resort with 85 villas that combines Italian hospitality with the natural beauty of the Maldives, offering personalised guest experiences in a tropical island setting. The Reservations Agent (Seasonal) helps create a positive guest experience before arrival by handling reservation enquiries and booking arrangements professionally and accurately. Key responsibilities include responding to reservation enquiries through appropriate channels in a timely manner, assisting guests and travel partners with booking requests, availability enquiries and reservation arrangements, providing accurate information about villa categories, resort facilities, dining and guest services, recording reservation details and guest information accurately in the relevant systems, communicating special requests and guest preferences to the appropriate departments, following established reservation procedures and service standards, and handling guest questions and concerns courteously. The role requires organisation and attention to detail in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment during a busy operating period. Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar reservations role within a luxury hotel or resort Previous experience working in the Maldives hospitality industry is preferred Strong customer service skills and a guest-focused approach Excellent verbal and written communication abilities and good reading, writing and spoken English proficiency Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and to work long hours when required
