About the role
Sonatus develops software-defined vehicle technology for the global automotive industry and is expanding its engineering team in Seoul. The company is looking for a Senior Compliance Engineer to make sure its vehicle software products meet the regulatory, safety, and industry standards that govern modern connected cars. You will own compliance-related engineering work across the product lifecycle: interpreting applicable standards and regulations, building compliance requirements into the development process, supporting audits and assessments, and working with engineering teams to close gaps before products ship to automaker customers. This is a senior, high-responsibility role for someone who understands both software engineering and the compliance landscape of the automotive sector. The position is hybrid and based in Seoul, with full employee benefits. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline - Senior-level experience in compliance, quality, or systems engineering, preferably automotive - Familiarity with automotive standards and regulatory frameworks - Experience supporting audits, assessments, or certification processes - Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Seoul, South Korea
