About the role
Bitstamp, the world's longest-running cryptocurrency exchange, is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for its Platform team — a remote position open to candidates working from home or another location. Bitstamp's platform handles billions in crypto trading volume, and the platform team keeps that infrastructure secure, scalable and always on. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will own the reliability of core platform systems: building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure as code, improving observability and incident response, and driving automation across the engineering organisation. You will work with product engineering teams to make deployments safe and boring — the hallmark of great platform work — while meeting the strict security expectations of a regulated exchange. This is a remote role with flexibility on work location. It is aimed at an experienced DevOps or platform engineer with deep cloud and Kubernetes experience who thrives on ownership and wants to operate infrastructure at serious scale in the crypto industry.
