About the role
Adyen, the Amsterdam-headquartered financial technology platform that provides payments, data and financial products in a single solution for businesses worldwide, is hiring a Senior Digital Designer to join its Global Marketing team in Amsterdam. The role reports to the Global Design Team Lead and sits at the centre of how the company presents itself online. Your focus will be shaping Adyen's digital experiences, especially its website. Working with the Digital Experiences team, you will develop high-quality, responsive designs for adyen.com, translate the design system into strong, scalable templates and components, and make sure every page follows the brand and design guidelines while supporting demand generation, capture and engagement. You will scope work and pressure-test feasibility with engineering, balancing reuse of the design system against creating new elements, and manage several projects at once from first concept to final delivery. This is an office-first role in a fast-moving global fintech, suited to a systems thinker who collaborates closely with product management, front-end development, UX and marketing colleagues, and who can coach others while managing stakeholders. Requirements
7+ years of experience as a digital designer, ideally at senior level Strong knowledge of UI, UX and design systems Experience with responsive design and component-based work on scalable commercial websites Highly proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud Comfortable using AI technologies and working iteratively Full professional proficiency in English
