About the role
Multiconsult, one of Norway's leading engineering consultancies, is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for its Oslo/Skøyen office, with a focus on hydropower and renewable energy projects. Norway's energy transition is creating strong demand for geotechnical expertise in dams, tunnels, power plants and grid infrastructure. In this senior role you will lead geotechnical design and advisory work on hydropower and renewables projects: ground investigations, stability analyses, foundation design and risk assessments. You will act as a technical lead and sparring partner for clients and colleagues, contribute to bids and project development, and mentor younger engineers. Your expertise will directly shape safe, sustainable energy infrastructure across the Nordics. The position is based in the Oslo area, Norway (Skøyen). It is aimed at an experienced geotechnical engineer with a relevant degree and a track record in hydropower, tunnelling or heavy civil works.
