About the role
The Veterans Health Administration is recruiting a Senior Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor for Primary Care Mental Health Integration (PCMHI) in Memphis, Tennessee. This full-time, permanent post at GS 12 level pays $89,508 to $116,362 per year, with one vacancy available, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The counsellor provides PCMHI services to veterans referred by their Patient Aligned Care Team, including same-day access, crisis intervention, evidence-based psychotherapy, treatment planning and consultation to PACT staff. Requirements are a master's or doctoral degree in clinical mental health counselling or a related qualifying field and a full, current, unrestricted licence to practise independently as a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor, plus senior-level experience.
