About the role
This is a fully remote Senior .NET Software Engineer role at OkWhen, an event technology company whose platform powers conferences and events end to end. You will own meaningful parts of a production system that handles conference management, registration, payments, mobile apps, webinars, learning management and continuing-education tracking. Your work follows the full journey from discovery to production: shaping what gets built, writing high-quality code, and seeing it run for real event organisers. A core part of the role is making the platform better over time, improving performance, reducing technical debt and raising the bar on reliability. You will work with C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core on the backend, Angular and TypeScript on the frontend, and advanced SQL Server for data design and query optimisation, alongside REST APIs, Git-based CI/CD and automated testing. This is a senior role for an engineer who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants real ownership of the systems they build.
Requirements
You bring 7+ years of professional software development experience, with strong commercial experience in C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core. You have strong Angular and TypeScript skills, advanced SQL Server knowledge spanning data design and query optimisation, and production experience with REST APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
