About the role
The Croatian Institute for Social Work is recruiting two social workers for its child protection work in Zaprešić, in Zagreb County. This is a full-time, permanent role for qualified social work professionals who want to work directly with children, families and the wider support system that surrounds them. A typical day will involve assessing needs, planning support, keeping careful case records, and working with colleagues and other services so that children receive timely, coordinated help. The post is based on site in Zaprešić, with full-time working hours and travel costs covered in full, as stated in the official vacancy. There is a three-month probationary period. Applications must be made on the Institute's official form, as set out in the competition notice, and candidates should check that notice for the full list of documents to attach. This is a public-sector competition post, not a private-sector vacancy, and the successful candidates will join a team whose work is governed by Croatia's social welfare legislation.
