About the role

The Public Appointments Service (PAS) is running an open competition for Software Developer – Senior ICT Specialist positions at Higher Executive Officer level in the Irish Civil Service. This is a panel competition: a ranked panel of successful candidates will be formed, and Civil Service departments and offices will draw from it to fill senior ICT specialist vacancies as they arise, with the majority of posts based in Dublin. Appointees will serve as senior technology specialists helping to deliver Government digital strategies and major national ICT programmes, taking on senior-level development and specialist responsibilities in permanent, full-time roles at the heart of public-sector technology. Candidates must apply online through the official publicjobs.ie competition page for vacancy 10109, where the candidate information booklet sets out the eligibility requirements, duties and selection process.
