About the role
This is a fully remote Software Engineer role at Prenosis, an AI precision-medicine company whose Immunix platform supports the diagnosis of sepsis and the real-time delivery of optimal therapy. You will design, build and extend production software systems that sit at the heart of this platform, working on services and features used in critical clinical settings. Day to day, you will write clean, well-tested code, review pull requests, and collaborate closely with product and data colleagues to turn clinical needs into reliable software. Because the platform operates in healthcare, you will treat correctness, data integrity and system reliability as first-class concerns, following disciplined engineering practices around testing, deployment and monitoring. The role suits an engineer who wants their work to matter: every improvement you ship helps clinicians identify sepsis earlier and deliver the right therapy faster. You will work as part of a distributed team, communicating clearly across time zones and taking ownership of your work from design through to production.
Requirements
You have professional software engineering experience and a track record of building and maintaining production systems. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional colleagues and communicating clearly in a distributed team. An interest in healthcare or biotech applications is a plus, and you approach your work with care for quality, testing and reliability.
