About the role
This is a fully remote Software Engineer role at Mirantis, the cloud infrastructure company behind Kubernetes-native AI infrastructure. You will build and evolve the systems that power enterprise cloud workloads: designing backend services, improving platform reliability and performance, and contributing to the open-source projects at the heart of the platform. Your days will involve writing high-quality code, reviewing peers' work, debugging distributed issues, and collaborating with engineers across time zones. Kubernetes experience is preferred but not required; what matters most is solid engineering fundamentals and an open-source mindset. This is a role for an engineer who loves infrastructure, learns quickly, and thrives in a collaborative, distributed team.
Requirements
You have professional software engineering experience building production systems. Kubernetes experience is a plus. You bring an open-source mindset, communicate clearly in writing, and collaborate well with a distributed team.
