About the role

Casa Națională de Asigurări Sociale is looking for a Specialist to work in its Ungheni territorial office, in the Pensions and Other Social Benefits Directorate, on a permanent basis. You will provide territorial services to citizens and contribution payers, helping them understand and use the social insurance system. Your work will focus on establishing and re-examining pensions and other social benefits, and on suspending, resuming and extending entitlement to a pension or other benefit where the rules require it. You will process requests and documents, keep case records accurate, take part in examining petitions about the establishment and review of pensions and other benefits and help prepare replies, and refer more complex cases onward where needed. This is an on-site role in Ungheni, working directly with the people and employers the territorial office serves.

- Process requests and documents for the establishment and re-examination of pensions and other social benefits - Process documents and information for the suspension, resumption and extension of entitlement to pensions and other social benefits - Take part in examining petitions on the establishment and review of pensions and other benefits, and help prepare replies - Inform individuals and legal entities in the served territory about social insurance matters - Keep accurate case records and refer complex cases onward where needed

Requirements

Applicants must hold citizenship of the Republic of Moldova, have full legal capacity, be under 63 years of age, be fit for the role on health grounds, and meet the standard public-service conditions on prior dismissal, criminal record and disqualification stated in the official announcement. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting, economics, finance, law or a related field, with professional development courses in public administration or the field of specialisation. No professional experience is required. Knowledge of Romanian and the official interethnic communication language spoken in the territory, knowledge of relevant legislation, and computer skills are required, together with respect for people, initiative, diplomacy, creativity and flexibility.
