About the role
The Spatial and Strategic Planning Division is recruiting surveyors for seven regular posts spread across Bhutan: two in Paro, one in Chukha (Phuentsholing), two in Tsirang, one in Trongsa and one in Trashigang. The surveyors will carry out field surveys and measurements, help establish land boundaries and topographic details, and prepare survey drawings and reports that support planning and infrastructure work. A typical week may involve fieldwork with total stations and GPS/GNSS equipment, levelling and traversing, checking measurements back in the office and recording results accurately. These are on-site, full-time posts, and candidates should be willing to work in the location assigned to them. The roles suit careful, detail-oriented surveyors who can work outdoors in varied terrain, handle instruments responsibly and keep precise records. Applicants should read the official vacancy notice in full and apply through the official system before the deadline on 12 November 2026.
