About the role

By order of 8 October 2026 of the President of the Maxixe Municipal Council, issued under Article 34 of Law No. 4/2022 of 11 February approving the General Statute of State Officials and Agents (EGFAE), a public entry competition is open for 30 days from publication of the notice to fill 12 posts on the staff establishment of the Maxixe Municipal Council in Inhambane Province. Within that competition, one post is for a Técnico (Technician) in the Social Communication area, graded Técnico de Comunicação Social C, alongside three administrative/technical Técnico posts, Assistente Técnico posts and Agente de Serviço posts for gravediggers and body conservation. This Maxixe competition is a different municipal body from the Guro Municipal Council competition posted in wave 1. General eligibility under Article 18 of the EGFAE requires Mozambican nationality, a tax identification number (NUIT), age of 18 or over provided the candidate can still complete at least 180 contributions for retirement purposes, mental and physical fitness compatible with the activity, and not having been retired. For the Técnico career the minimum schooling is 12th grade with a specific qualification, and experience in the area is an advantage. No salary is stated in the notice, and no single calendar closing date is printed in the notice, which instead sets a 30-day window from publication, so the deadline field is left null rather than inferred.
