About the role
The VA in West Roxbury, Massachusetts, is seeking a Staff Chaplain to provide complete religious ministry to veterans, families and staff. You will lead worship and rituals, offer pastoral counselling and spiritual assessments, provide crisis intervention, and work as a member of an integrated treatment team. The role also supports advance-care planning and coordinates community resources for needs the service cannot meet internally. Requirements include a Master of Divinity or equivalent, ecclesiastical endorsement, and board certification, with GS-11 requiring additional creditable experience. The position is full time, Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at GS 9–11, paying $69,905 to $109,959 per year. Applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
