About the role
Perform a full range of simple cooking tasks in a Morale, Welfare and Recreation food-service facility at Cape Canaveral, Florida, preparing and cooking items as assigned by a supervisor for service members, families and guests. You may occasionally be temporarily assigned to another food-service facility. The role suits a reliable cook who follows written and oral instructions well and enjoys the pace of a working kitchen. Applicants must show sufficient cooking experience and knowledge, skills and abilities in their resumes, be able to follow instructions, lift 40 pounds and stand for long periods; there is no positive education requirement. Eligibility: open to the public — U.S. citizens, nationals, or those who owe allegiance to the United States, limited to applicants currently located in the local commuting area.
