About the role
The Army's Installation Management Command is hiring a Cook at Fort Gordon, Georgia, to feed soldiers, families and staff to a high standard every day. You will prepare and cook meals to recipes and menus, operate professional kitchen equipment, and uphold food-safety and sanitation standards throughout service. This is a full-time regular post of 40 hours a week in a permanent non-appropriated fund role. You need at least six months of directly related cooking or food-preparation experience; there is no formal education requirement, but you must complete four hours of sanitation training, be able to lift up to 40 pounds, and pass a health assessment. Irregular, evening and weekend hours are possible, as catering follows the life of the installation. If you take pride in good food served safely, apply by 4 November 2026.
