About the role
Malmstrom Inn & Suites at Malmstrom Air Force Base is hiring a Custodial Worker (Housekeeper) for its lodging operation. This non-appropriated fund housekeeping role cleans guest rooms, corridors, stairways and other assigned areas, including sanitising appliances and bathrooms, changing linen, restocking supplies and reporting facility problems. The work is physically demanding, involving vacuums, mops and powered scrubbers, frequent cart-pushing and lifting. It is an intermittent, flexible appointment, guaranteed zero hours and able to work up to 40 hours per week, and is not eligible for leave or other non-appropriated fund benefits as stated in the announcement. It is entry-level: no previous experience or training is required, only the ability to follow simple instructions, use light cleaning tools, and physically perform the duties. The post is open to everyone, with applicants categorised by preference and priority. Pay: $17.37 to $20.26 per hour, starting at $17.37. Closing date: 10 November 2026.
