About the role
The Lyon interregional directorate of the prison administration (Direction de l'administration pénitentiaire — DISP Lyon) is recruiting a prison-services director (directeur des services pénitentiaires) for the Roanne detention center (centre de détention). As head of the establishment's leadership team, the director runs the facility day to day: ensuring the safety of staff, inmates and visitors, organizing detention operations and inmate activities, managing personnel and resources, and working with judicial and local partners. The role demands strong leadership, crisis management and knowledge of the prison system. This is a Category A+ civil-service appointment, full-time and on-site in Roanne, France.
