About the role
The French prison administration is seeking a director of prison services (directeur des services pénitentiaires) to run the Villefranche-sur-Saône prison (centre pénitentiaire), under the Lyon interregional directorate (DISP Lyon). As head of the establishment, the appointee will direct all aspects of the facility's life: security and order, staff supervision, financial management, relations with the judiciary and probation services, and the day-to-day enforcement of sentences with a focus on rehabilitation and reintegration.
