About the role
Joy Talk (Joytalk Co., Ltd.) is hiring English instructors for its schools across Miyagi Prefecture. A family-owned company founded in 1982 and now in its second generation of leadership, Joy Talk runs four fixed schools across Tochigi and Miyagi, dispatches ALTs to public schools across the Kanto and Tohoku regions, and also provides translation services. Native-level English is required, while basic Japanese is preferred but not mandatory — so teachers without strong Japanese can still thrive here. Transportation costs are covered on top of the ¥230,000–260,000 monthly salary. A regional eikaiwa role suited to a teacher happy to be based outside the major metros.
