About the role
General Leonard Wood Community Hospital is hiring a Family Support Coordinator to run its Exceptional Family Member Program and family-member travel screening service. You will process enrolments, manage appointment and scheduling inputs, analyse whether services are available for families at each location, review how well the programme is working, and give service members and their families clear, practical guidance. The work is detail-heavy and people-centred: families rely on you to get paperwork, referrals and travel decisions right, first time. Applicants need a behavioural or social-science degree (or a related field), qualifying experience, or a combination, plus specialised coordination experience or graduate education at the GS-7/GS-9 level. This permanent, full-time post is designated Mission Essential, with no telework or travel. Apply through USAJOBS by 4 November 2026.
